We work with official Slovak archives, certified translators, and established legal professionals in Slovakia to support clients throughout the process.
Citizenship By Descent: The Service Path
Service Fees:
Citizenship by Descent (CBD) or Slovak Living Abroad (SLA) Full Service Consulting
- The fee for consulting services is 900€.
- Includes step-by-step guidance through the pre-submission process, including answering all of your questions and US/CA document collection.
- Includes guidance with application preparation.
- Includes guidance with document preparation for your submission.
We also provide or assist with the following services at an additional cost:
Slovak Archive Document Acquisition:
- 50€ for the first document, and 25€ for each additional document from the same archive.
- If requesting additional documents from a separate archive:
- 50€ for the first document from that archive, and 25€ for each additional document from the same archive.
Additional document costs:
- The actual cost of the document starts at 7€ per page, which is set by the Slovak authorities and varies by document.
- Shipping of the document back to you is 67€ via DHL. This shipping cost can be avoided if you use Iveta Červeňaková for your translations, as we will hold your Slovak documents and send everything back to you in the same envelope, ensuring you only pay for shipping once.

Translation & Interpretation:
- We offer document translation services, and if applying in Slovakia, we also provide in-person interpretation services.
- Fees for these services vary by client and are not included in the consulting fee.
- These services are provided by Iveta Červeňáková, a native of Slovakia with over 30 years of experience in English/Slovak translation.

Post‑Approval Support:
- We assist with passport issuance in Slovakia (contact Iveta Červeňáková at info@vesper-translations.sk directly for this service. Please note that you must travel to Poprad for this service, as we do not service Bratislava), EU integration, and relocation tours beginning in the spring of 2026.
